SHERMAN STATION – Clyde Champion Sr., 71, died Nov. 30, 2003, at his home after a short illness. He was born Feb. 16, 1932, in Burlington, the son of Virginia Champion. Clyde was predeceased by his wife, Georgia “Sally” (Carver) Champion. He is survived by three daughters, Bonnie and her husband, Steve Qualey, of Sherman, Tina and her husband, Paul Christiansen, of Douglas, Mass., and Cathy and her husband, Tom Reber, of Woonsocket, R.I.; one son, Clyde Champion Jr. of Woonsocket, R.I.; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Sylvia Patnaude of Bishop, Conn., and Marion Cloreiter of Lisbon; two brothers, Gordon and Paul, both of Burlington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by one sister, Eva Champion; and two brothers, Walter and Ed. A graveside memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at the Sherman Cemetery with the Rev.
