ORLAND PARK – Clyde F. Kennedy, 81, was drawn into the arms of our Lord, March 9, 2006. He was born July 23, 1954, in Harrington, to the late Harriet and Horace Kennedy. Clyde attended Philadelphia Bible College and later relocated to Wheaton, Ill., where he attended Wheaton College. He was the loving husband of Irene (Rutkauskas); the beloved father of Patrick (Diane) Kennedy, Shirley (Gary) McCulloch and JoAnn (Ron) Sorensen; cherished and devoted grandpa to Danielle, Nicolette, Victoria and the late Joshua Kennedy, Haley and Mitchell McCulloch, Katrina and Karla Sorensen; loving brother of the Rev. Clarence Kennedy and the late Harold; loving brother-in-law of the late August “Joe” Rutkauskas; and dear uncle of David (Judy) Kennedy, Harold (Donna Lynn) Kennedy, Carolyn Kennedy and Barbara (Rick) Trevithick; as well as numerous cousins. Thank you to his loving and compassionate caregivers, Debbie Anderson, Debbie Akien, Kris Knott, Dr. Scott Schieber and everyone associated with Palos Hospice Service. He touched the hearts of all those he met and will be forever missed by countless family members and friends. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Harrington, with Clyde’s brother, the Rev. Clarence Kennedy, officiating. Arrangements are by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Milbridge.
