HOULTON – Clyde W. MacDonald, 85, died Sept. 5, 2004, at a local healthcare facility. He was born Jan. 31, 1919, at Houlton, the son of George W. and Abbie (Dow) MacDonald. Clyde was a member of the Military Street Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a mill wright for Aroostook Milling. He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Wilde and family of Houlton, Jenny Webster and family of Connecticut; one son, Robert MacDonald and his family of Connecticut; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, seven stepsons, seven stepdaughters, several stepgrandchildren, and a special four-legged companion, “Abby”. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna I. (Michaud) MacDonald; his daughter, Gloria Farrell; sisters, Verda Reardon, Bernice Graham, Margaret Beers; brothers, Phillip, Jack, Garold and George; and a grandchild, Terri Pryor. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Military Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randall Burns officiating.
