CORINNE G. ROSSIGNOL VAN BUREN – Corinne G. Rossignol, 87, died May 6, 2004, at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born Nov. 8, 1916, in Cyr Plantation, the daughter of Bruno and Anne (Madore) Gagnon. She is survived by three sons, Herman Rossignol and his wife, Irene, and Larry Rossignol and his companion, Carol Desjardins, all of Van Buren, and Danny Rossignol and his wife, Jackie, of Caribou; five daughters, Ina Helkowsky and her husband, Robert, of York, Rena Smith and her husband, Gordon, of Albuquerque, N.M., Donaldine Soucie and her husband, Raymond, of Somersworth, N.H., Velma Sperry and her husband, Lyman, of Perham, Mona Mongeon and her husband, George, of St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada; one brother, Roger Gagnon of Carmel; seven sisters, Mary Ann Thibodeau of Madawaska, Agathe Chabre and Aurore Chabre, both of Van Buren, Claire Labreck, Omerine Gendreau, and Adrienne Brumbaum, all of Connecticut, Velma Castonguay of Cyr Plantation; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Rene Rossignol in 2001. Relatives and friends may call 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 12 High St., Van Buren. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
