ELLSWORTH – Corinne Webster Sanborn, 70, died Jan. 7, 2007, at an Ellsworth health care facility after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 5, 1936, in Castine, the daughter of Dwight R. and Arlene (Bowden) Webster. She worked much of her life in Washington, D.C., and did many clerical jobs in the area. She is survived by her sons, Gregory and his fiance, Karin, of Deer Isle and William Sanborn of Fairfield; daughters, Debra Parker and husband, William, of Hancock and Deborah Sroka of Augusta; grandchildren, her pride and joy, Nickolas of Hancock and Jon and Jennifer, both of Augusta; sister, Lucille Fellows of Augusta; several nieces and nephews; and her special dog, Sugar. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, John Sanborn. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, weather permitting, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
