CASTINE – Cristina Rulon-Miller, 53, died Oct. 23, 2003, at Penobscot. She was born Dec. 18, 1949, in La Jolla, Calif., the daughter of Neal Oak and Madeline Sylvia (Connelly) Miller. Cristina was a longtime resident of Maine, who had a love of wooden boats and sailing. She had a love for animals, showed horses in her younger years in the greater Bangor area, and always had a faithful canine companion or two. Cristina is survived by her sister, Marianna “Candy” Miller of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; her brother, John Randolph Miller of Timonium, Md.; eight nieces and nephews; cousins, Paul and Louise Connelly of Freedom, Kenneth Connelly of Hancock, Dottie Connelly of Orrington, and Donald Connelly of Florida. In addition to her parents, Cristina was predeceased by her grandparents, Edwin Norris and Anna (Neal) Miller. A brief graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Those wishing to attend should meet at the Superintendent’s Lodge at 2:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cristina’s memory may be made to the Bagaduce Ambulance Corps Box 522 Castine, ME 04421.
