DEXTER – Crystal M. Weeks, 78, died Jan. 22, 2005, at a Dexter healthcare facility. She was born Nov. 20, 1926, in Guilford Center, daughter of Edward and Isabelle (Burgess) Church. She worked for several years at the Boarding Home and Nursing Home in Dexter, and did in-home care for several of the local people. She was a weaver at Eastland Woolen Mill and for Guilford Industries for several years. She was a caregiver for both of her parents until the time of their death. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and also loved bowling. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy “Sandy” and her husband, David Tozier, of St. Albans, and Patricia Hysom of Dexter; a son and his wife, Carroll and Candy Weeks of Canaan; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, three brothers and their wives, Maynard and Marsha Church of Corinna, Norman Church of Newport, and Keith Church of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister, Donna Downs of Newport; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Bev Stewart and Jan Nicholson; and her dog, Baby. Friends may call 2:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Rural Grove Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft.
