BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Curtis Dean Bashaw Jr., 9, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Brooksville Regional Hospital, Florida. He was a lifelong resident of Brooksville, Fla., and attended Brooksville Elementary School, where he was on the honor roll. He was Baptist by faith and attended Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church, Brooksville, Fla. He played HYL baseball and played soccer through the YMCA. He enjoyed video games, card games and checkers. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Michael Brittin of Brooksville, Fla.; his father and stepmother, Curtis and Jessica Bashaw of Brooksville, Fla.; his half sister, Akira Bashaw of Brooksville, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Grandma Pat and Grandpa Mike of Brooks-ville, Fla., Nanny Sharon and Puppa David Robitille of Lowell, Vt., and Poppa Harvey O’Brien of Millinocket; paternal grandfather, Scott Bashaw of Holly Hills, Fla.; maternal great-grandparents, Maxine and Anthony Guiliano of Brooksville, Fla., Grandma Grace and Grandma Dot; and paternal great-grandmother, Phyllis Bashaw. Services will be held in Florida at a later date.
