LINCOLN – Dallis Irene (Davis) Jipson, 72, died Oct. 2, 2003, at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Oct. 20, 1930, in Lincoln, the daughter of Clifton and Alice (Aldrich) Davis. Dallis worked as a cook for the hot lunch program at Ella P. Burr School until her retirement. She enjoyed camping, going to Florida for the winter, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Claude R. Jipson; two daughters, Kim Carlow and her husband, Ron, and Kendra Aho Helsor and her husband, Glenn Aho; a son, Kevin Jipson, all of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse and Jennifer Oliver, Tyler and Logan Helsor; a great-grandson, Jaydan Oliver; two step-granddaughters, Amanda Bragg and Cassandra Carlow; three step-great-grandchildren, Katie and Rianna Bragg, and Madison Blockburger; a sister, Helen Stamet of Indiana and a brother, Alton Davis of Florida; many sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lincoln Cemetery, with the Rev. Seth Avery officiating.
