EAST MACHIAS – Damon Edward Nason, 2, passed away unexpectedly March 2, 2008. He was born July 4, 2005, the son of Jeremy L. Nason and Tawnya R. Nason. Damon will be remembered for his friendly nature, a smile that would light up the room, and a very distinctive hairstyle. He had a particular fondness for bananas and enjoyed “borrowing” his sister’s toys. He is survived by his father, Jeremy Nason and companion, Brooke, of Eastbrook; mother, Tawnya (Evans) Bryson of East Machias; sister, Lexis Nason; half brother, Jayden; grandparents, Pamela Gandy and husband, Ronald, Sanford Nason and wife, Deborah, Susan Autrum, and Henry W. Evans; great-grandmothers, Elsie Nason and Morna Hood; aunts, Kimberly Nason, Shaina Nason, Melissa Gandy, Marissa Gandy and Cheyenne Gandy; great-aunt and great-uncle, Gary and Joyce Nixon; great-aunt, Kathy Martin; great-aunt, and great-uncle, Gloria and Reggie Metcalf; great-aunt, Caroline Hood; great-uncle, Kenny Hood; great-aunt, Paula Dowling; stepaunts, Sherry Dunlavey and Cammy Hood; and several cousins. Damon was predeceased by his great-uncle, Carl Hood; and great-grandmother, Pauline Martin.
