FRANKFORT – Dana Carroll Bishop Sr., 44, of Frankfort, died suddenly in a tragic accident on Saturday, June 12, 2004, in Winterport. He was born on July 12, 1959, in Camden, the son of Gerald and Georgianna Bishop. Dana was a truck driver and recently started the Fat Boy’s Diner, Route 1, Searsport, along with his wife, Tammy. He loved motorcycles, cars, watermelon and mudding. His family and especially his grandchildren were everything to him. He was predeceased by his parents. Dana is survived by his wife, Tammy (Paige) Bishop of Frankfort; his children, Dana Bishop Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Stockton Springs, Danielle Bishop and her fianc?, Matt, of Frankfort, and David Bishop and his wife, Angelina, of Brewer, and an honorary son, Tom Noble and his wife, Gayle; his brothers, Sonny and Cassie Bishop of Stockton Springs, Milford and Bonita Bishop of Belfast, Meldon and Yvonne Bishop of Searsport, Joe and Ty Bishop of Frankfort, Jeremy Bishop, Tim and Jessie Austin; his sisters, Terry and Farmer James of Winterport, and Velvet Curtis of Winterport, and Judy Mugford; two grandchildren, Charissa and Abbigal; and his special friends, Freddy Ayer and Ted Ward; he loved his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday with the Rev. Allen Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport. Arrangements are under the care of the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
