PITTSFIELD – Daniel A. True, 31, passed away Dec. 31, 2004, at a Bangor hospital, as a result of complica-tions from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident. Danny was born May 1, 1973, in Waterville, the son of Laurie (Curtis) Bryson and William True. Danny was a 1992 graduate of Maine Central Institute, and served briefly in the U.S. Army. Danny was passionate about so many things; he was an avid outdoorsman, always looking for a chance to get the ‘Big One’ either by fishing or hunting. He loved spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed camping and snowmobiling. Danny enjoyed everything that was connected to the outdoors, from dog sledding to mowing the lawn. One of his many loves was working with wood and creating things from a new deck to kitchen cabinets. He was always full of life and fun, you could always count on Danny helping out when a hand was needed. He always took special care and attention to the little things, whether it was chores around the house or favors for family and friends. There are many people with special memories or stories of Dan that will be treasured forever. Danny was predeceased by a grandfather, Albert True and his fianc?e’s parents, Rodney and Reta Lougee, all of whom he loved and loved him very much. He is survived by his fianc?e, Rhonda Hartley of Pittsfield; his daughter, Breanna and stepson, Nate Hartley, both of Pittsfield; a son, Avery of Connecticut; his mother, Laurie and stepfather, Neal Bryson of Pittsfield; and his father, William True and fianc?e, Lisa Houllahan, of Mercer; grandparents, John Sr. and Elizabeth Curtis of Pittsfield, Crystal and Jerry Butt of Vermont and Luella Robinson of Corinna; three siblings, Brandie Bryson of Pittsfield, Derek and Sabrina True of Mercer and their mother, Darline Littlejohn of Skowhegan, numerous aunts, uncles, their families and countless friends. A special thank you to Stuart Ludden, Jim Emery and everyone that helped Danny at the time of his accident. The family invites all relatives and friends to celebrate in Danny’s life on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, 35 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield. A service of remembrance, reflection and conversation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Anyone who would like to share a story will be welcome to do so from 3-4 and 7-8 p.m. A donation may be made in Danny’s memory to benefit the family in care of Donald H.
