He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beatrice “Bea” Chandler of Farmington; three sons, Adrian Chandler and his wife, Marilyn, of New Sharon, Bruce Chandler of Ellsworth and Barry Chandler of Jay; two daughters, Cherrilynn Chandler of Monmouth and Candice Leland and her husband, David, of Abbott; one brother, Colby Chandler and his wife, Jean, of New York state; one sister, Thirza Wass of Southwest Harbor; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Public Masonic graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, by Maine Lodge No. 20 AF & AM of Farmington at Riverside Cemetery, Farmington. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service and Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.
