SUNSHINE – Clara Lynn (Robbins) Cousins, 87, died June 2, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Sunshine, the daughter of Horace Ellsbory and Ruth Ellen (Thompson) Robbins. Faith was important to Clara and she was very active in the Advent Christian Church, Sunshine. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, enjoyed gardening and her animals. Clara is survived by two sons, Calvin Cousins, and Frank Cousins and his companion, Jennie; two sisters, Josephine Rhys and Alma Haynes; one brother, Cecil Robbins and his wife, Winnie; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Clara was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Woodrow P. Cousins, on Jan. 17, 2004; two daughters, Diane Redman and Ruth Ellen Cousins; one brother, Ellsbory Robbins. Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2004, at the Advent Christian Church, Sunshine, where a funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. David Davis officiating. Interment will be in Sunshine Cemetery.
