OLD TOWN – Marie E. Kehoe, 90, wife of the late Laurence F. (Larry) Kehoe, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004. She was born March 30, 1914, in Frenchville, the daughter of Marcel Raymond and Flavie Gauvin Raymond. Her childhood years were spent in Frenchville, and Eagle Lake. At the age of 19 she moved to Old Town, where she lived for 43 years. After her marriage to Larry Kehoe in 1975, she moved to Kennebunkport, where she and Larry had a very happy life until his death in 1998. Marie then moved to Indiana to be with her daughter. Marie loved to sew, and throughout her life made lots of her own clothing. She had many other hobbies, including writing poems, crocheting and collecting dolls that she made the clothing for. Marie’s favorite job was in the flower department at the W.T. Grant store, where she met many people and excelled at creating beautiful flower arrangements. She always had a ready smile and willingness to give a helping hand. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Marie is survived by her daughter, Carol A. Clark of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Leo Raymond and his wife, Shirley, of Old Town, and Norman Raymond of Sulphur, La.; two sisters, Janet McPherson of Connecticut, and Thelma Alkas and her husband, Sam, of Connecticut; three grandchildren, Kristina Gauthier of Vilonia, Ark., Andy Gauthier and his wife, Lynette, of Hampden, and Marsha Cyr and her husband, Glen, of No. Yarmouth; and four great-grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by two sisters, Emelda Perry and Annette Waye; and three brothers, David Raymond, Ernest (Don) Raymond and Gilman Raymond. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, June 7, at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Abiote Center Road, Ft. Wayne. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk at a later date.
