LITTLE DEER ISLE – Darin S. Parker, 38, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 24, 2004, at his home in Little Deer Isle. He was born July 12, 1965, in Blue Hill, the son of Edgar B. and Carlotta E. (Eaton) Parker. Darin attended Deer Isle schools. He enjoyed carpentry, boating, listening to his music, and spending time with his family and friends. Darin is survived by his father, Edgar B. Parker of Little Deer Isle; his grandmother, Helen Gelinas of Little Deer Isle; two brothers, Dana Parker and his wife, Linda, of Little Deer Isle, David Parker and his wife, Barbara, of Penobscot; two sisters, Pamela E. Gabriele and her husband, Dominick, of Connecticut, and Sheila Joyce and her husband, David, of Deer Isle; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at the Blastow’s Cove Cemetery, Little Deer Isle, with Pastor Harald Smedal officiating.
