JONESPORT – Darrell R. Faulkingham, 59, passed away Oct. 14, 2004, at Sunrise Health Care Facility, in Jonesport, after an extended illness. He was born Sept. 21, 1945, in Machias, the son of Orval L. and Gleness E. (Duguay) Faulkingham. In his youth, Darrell enjoyed basketball. He was a true blue Elvis fan. He enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and checkers. Darrell was well liked by everyone. He is survived by his parents, Orval Sr. and Gleness Faulkingham of Jonesport; sister, Bonnie Patterson, of Connecticut; brother, Larry Faulkingham of Jonesport; sister-in-law, Trudy Faulkingham; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Orval Faulkingham Jr. Visiting hours will take place 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at the Sawyer Memorial Congregational Church in Jonesport. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Jonesport officiated by Pastor George Woodward. Arrangements are under the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 6 Cooper St., Machias.
