BANGOR – David A. Ruane, 41, passed away Aug. 30, 2007, at his Bangor residence. David was born March 30, 1966, in Rochester, N.Y., the son of Robert J. and Judy K. (Schwartz) Ruane. David grew up and attended schools in Victor, N.Y. He worked as a salesman for most of his life, something he excelled at and enjoyed. Another love of David’s was racehorses, in which he owned and loved to watch. David was also a member of the Rock Church, Bangor. David will be remembered as a loving son, father, fiance and brother. David is survived by his parents, Robert and Judy Ruane; his fiancee, Diane Hersey; two sons, Craig and Tyler Ruane; two daughters, Chloe and Lillian Ruane; three stepchildren, Andrew, Bradford and Lukas Hersey; a sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Phil Prinzi and their children, Olivia and Phillip; as well as an aunt and uncle, Ronnie and Donna King. A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at the Rock Church, 1195 Ohio St., Bangor. Interment will be in New York. Arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
