BRISTOL, Conn. and CHERRYFIELD – David Lee Rolfe, 47, of 40 Grove St., Bristol, Conn. loving husband of Debra (Vose) Rolfe passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. David was born Feb. 20, 1959, in Ellsworth. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and talked of fishing right until the end. He is survived by his mother, Janice (Willey) Rolfe; his father, Allen Rolfe Sr.; and stepmother, Debbie Rolfe, all of Cherryfield; two stepdaughters, Jessica and Melissa Trapp of Bristol; a son, Tommy Justice of West Virginia; and a stepson, Walter C. Frechette Jr. of Bristol; a loving sister, Judy Ann Bubar; and brother, Allen Rolfe Jr.; seven grandchildren, Mileena Casiano, Kyana Anderson of Bristol, Conn., Hunter and Trey Frechette, Justin and Sierra Zmijewski of Georgia, Mellisa Justice of West Virginia; several nieces and nephews and a devoted friend, Bill Hubbard of Terryville; and his beloved dog, Trouble. David was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Allen and Margaret Rolfe; and his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Nina Willey. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, in Milbridge. New Haven Funeral Service is in charge of the cremation.
