BANGOR and WATERVILLE David Maxwell Bishop, 65, died peacefully, March 18, 2004, at his home in Solomons, Md. He was the son of the late Samuel Maxwell Bishop and Emily Harris Bishop. His is survived by his two sons, Mason Maxwell Bishop of Burke, Va., and Colin David Bishop of Woodville, Texas; two daughters-in-law, Greta Rush Bishop and Malisa Mia Bishop; and five beautiful grandchildren. David grew up in Stoneham, Mass., and was a graduate of Southern Methodist University. He spent many years working in education in Maine as a principal and superintendent. He was also chairman of the Somerset County Republican Party in the 1970s. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, 2004, at the Solomons United Methodist Church.
