ALLAGASH – David Paul Gardner, 42, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006, at his home after a long illness. He was born Oct. 31, 1963, in Fort Kent. David worked as a truck driver and mechanic. He graduated from Nascar Technical Institute of Mooresville, N.C. and had been employed by Greg Biffle, Inc. Loving survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ruth and Robert Jones of Delta, Mo.; children, Robin and Russell Gardner; brother, Steven Robert Gardner; nephew, Jashua Gardner, all of Chaffee, Mo.; niece, Carolyn Gardner of Northridge, Calif.; step-brothers, Michael Jones of Lebanon, Tenn. and Douglas Jones of Bossier City, La. David is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Robert E. Gardner. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday until time of departure for Allagash at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Allagash Baptist Church. Burial will be immediately after the service at the Allagash Baptist Cemetery.
