SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Dawn Quackenbush, 35, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mass. She was the daughter of Harold Quackenbush and stepdaughter of Ernestine Quackenbush of Millinocket. She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia (Blanchette) Quackenbush. She is survived by two brothers, Brad and Todd of Springfield, Mass.; nephew, Ethan and his mother, Arlene; her grandmother, Helen Billings of Lansing, Mich.; stepsisters, Karen Emerson and Lisa Civiello of Millinocket and Kara Dylag of Cleveland; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be sadly missed by her friends, Joe, Kathy and Tammy Braica, and Amanda Pothier and family. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Christ the Divine Mercy Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
