MACHIASPORT – Dawn Starr Wood, 45, died July 22, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1958, in Lubec, the daughter of Sharon R. (Sawtelle) Stoddard and Clayton A. Stoddard Jr. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Whiting. Dawn enjoyed doing crafts and being on the computer. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Wood of Machiasport; son, Joseph Wood and wife, Amanda, of Machiasport; parents, Clayton Jr. and Sharon Stoddard of Whiting; siblings, Rhonda Lancaster, Charlene Foss, Amanda Prescott, Randy Stoddard and Wade Stoddard; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many friends; and beloved dog, Wiggles. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lori Starr Wood. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2004, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 6 Cooper St., Machias, officiated by special friend and uncle, Elder Bill Sawtelle and Pastor Edward Fleisch. Burial will follow the service at Eastside Cemetery, Machiasport.
