PITTSFIELD – Dean C. Stockwell Sr., 81, husband of Florence E. (Blanchard) Stockwell, died Feb. 23, 2007, at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1925, in Bradford, the son of Harry D. and Etta M. (Chadbourne) Stockwell. He had worked as a bulldozer operator for area contractors for many years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Florence of Pittsfield; a daughter, Erdene S. Badger and her husband, Fred, of Bangor; a son, Dean Stockwell Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Pittsfield; three sisters, Geneva Sherman and Ramona Niles, both of Bradford and Norma Ewer of Howland; five grandchildren, Kevin and Janet Badger, Stephanie, Matthew and Garth Stockwell. Graveside memorial services in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, will be conducted in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home, Milo.
