ORRINGTON – Deanna L. Dingwell, 65, died Sept. 20, 2006, at her residence in Orrington. She was born Jan. 29, 1941, in Brewer, the daughter of James and Mary (Cookson) Bowden. Her family was her life and she was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grand-mother, sister and aunt. Deanna attended Orrington schools and graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1959. She worked as the deputy town clerk for the town of Orrington for 12 years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crochet, marbles and playing cards. In addition to her mother of Glenburn; she is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Stanley Dingwell of Orrington; sons, James C. Brown of Portland and Clifton F. Brown and wife, Christie, of Jackman; a daughter, Lori Ann Trevains and husband, “Jim” Stanley III, of Skowhegan; a sister, Linda Griffin and husband, Reginald, of Jackman; grandchildren, Bailey Brown, Mary Lee Brown, Lee Trevains and Jonathan Trevains; stepchildren, Gordon Dingwell and James Dingwell, both of Pomfret, Conn., and Sherry Dingwell of Danielson, Conn.; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with the family 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, with the Rev. Dr. Rex Garrett, Director of Chaplaincy Services at Eastern Maine Medical Center, officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Glenburn. Family and friends are invited to conversation and refreshments at the Glenburn Convenant Church, Glenburn Center, after the interment.
