ELLSWORTH – Debby U. Stormann, 46, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 28, 2007, in Trenton. She was born Jan. 23, 1961, in Millinocket, the beloved daughter of Leonard and Gerlinde Small of Millinocket. Debby was all smiles when she left for the Mount Desert Island Carriage Trails, with her beloved horse, Tias White Diamond. Sadly her passing occurred en route to indulge in her favorite passion of riding Tia. She shared 23 years of marriage with Harvey A. Stormann Jr. of Ellsworth. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include two daughters, Danielle G. Stormann and Aimee L. Stormann, both of Ellsworth; a brother, Danny Small and wife, Melinda, of Minot; mother-in-law, Barbara Stormann of Bangor; three sisters-in-law, Karen Bradford of Bangor, Debbie Graves of Los Alamos, N.M., and Cheryl Nash of Maryland; and two sons she never had, Casey Feaster of California and Scott Phillips of Veazie; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the U.S. and Germany. She is also survived by her four footed canine companion, Ryah. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 527 Hammond St., Bangor, with the Rev. Charles Hurst officiating. After the service, relatives and friends are invited to attend a light fellowship with food and refreshments at the church. She shared her passion of horses and animals with so many others and devoted her time and money to rescuing and helping these needy animals.
