BREWER – Deborah A. Schlipstein, 55, beloved wife of Ronald Schlipstein, passed away April 22, 2006, at a Bangor hospital, after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born March 9, 1951, in Bangor, the daughter of Floyd F. and Charlotte R. (Grover) Lane Sr. Deborah was a 1969 graduate of Brewer High School. She lived in the Bangor-Brewer area most of her life except for the 23 years spent with her loving husband while on active duty with the Air Force. Surviving in addition to her husband of 37 years and her mother, both of Brewer are five children, Sherry Gonzalez and her husband, Miguel, of Etna, Michelle Bladen and her husband, Andrew, of Brewer, Jason Schlipstein and Heather Hathaway of Carmel, Michael Schlipstein and his wife, Christina, of Bangor and Steven Schlipstein of Brewer; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jefferey, Brandon, Justin, Mikayla, Nicholas and Matteo; one sister, Charlotte Soule and her husband, Daniel, of Brunswick; one brother, Floyd F. Lane Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Milford; and many special friends. She was predeceased by her father in February 2006. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Carl Schreiber, interim pastor of the East Orrington Congregational Church, presiding. Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
