PAGE, ARIZ. – Debbie went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Nov. 11, 2004, at Phoenix, Ariz., after a courageous seven year battle with cancer. She was born July 22, 1955, at Houlton, the second child of Ralph and Dawn Bubar of Linneus. She attended Linneus Elementary School and graduated from Hodgdon High School, Class of 1973, and attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Lewiston. She married Michael Spooner June 28, 1974, in Linneus. They moved to Flaggstaff, Ariz., in 1977, then later moved to Page, Ariz., where she worked at Page Middle School. She was a very active member of First Southern Baptist Church of Page. She is survived by her parents of Linneus, husband, Michael of Page, Ariz.; son, Mark of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Krystal and her husband, Sam Myers, of Page, Ariz.; eight brothers and sisters, Cheryl and her husband, James Kervin, of Deland, Fla., Diane Barnes of Oklahoma City, Okla., Arlene and her husband, Cecil Long, of Houlton, Ralph Jr. of Linneus, Gail Bubar of Oklahoma City, Okla., Lynne Bubar of Linneus, Charles and his wife, Annette Ritchie, of Beverly, Mass., Carol and her husband, Wally Grant, of Oakfield; father and mother-in-law, Vernon and Gladys Spooner of Houlton; brothers-in-law, Patrick and Maureen Spooner of New Hampshire, Dennis and his wife, Brenda Spooner, of Hodgdon; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Nov. 15, at First Southern Baptist Church, Page, Ariz., with the Rev. Boldin officiating.
