MONSON – Deborah Jean Stone, 51, died Oct. 22, 2006, at her home. She was born March 23, 1955, in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of Wilbur and Rita (Leavitt) Stone Sr. She worked for Moosehead Manufacturing, Monson, until her illness five years ago. She is survived by her mother, Rita (Leavitt) Stone of Monson; paternal grandmother, Thelma and her husband, Joe Bates, of Guilford; four brothers and their wives, Wilbur Jr. and Jean Stone of Florida, Daniel Stone of Monson, Robert Stone of Monson, Baxter and Barbara Stone of Guilford; two sisters and their husbands, Donna and Paul Saunders Sr. of Atkinson and Robin and Larry Storer of Monson; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, including two favorite aunts, Betty Stone of Monson and Edna Spencer of Sangerville. She was predeceased by her father, Wilbur Stone Sr. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Monson Community Church, with Pastor David Ray Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Main Stream Cemetery, Harmony. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the Monson Fire Department, P.O. Box 308, Monson, ME 04464.
