HAMPDEN – Deborah L. McMahon Drucker, 49, wife of Allen Drucker, died April 17, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 22, 1955, in Bangor the daughter of Theodore R. and Charlotte (Pressey) Littlefield. Deborah was a nurse of the old school, nevertheless, she used diverse medical means to help her many patients. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and another in nursing. After working for many years in health facilities in Portland and Bangor, she returned to school for a master of science in nursing. In 1997, she opened Mental Health Medical Support in downtown Bangor, working with underserved and vulnerable populations. Later the practice was known as Independent Nurse Practitioners and most recently Bangor Integrative Health. She took the time to listen to her many patients and will be sorely missed by them. In addition to her work, she was a hard-working mother who cared deeply for her daughters and supported their interests and achievements. She was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan, a fisherwoman and a pet-lover. Surviving in addition to her husband of Hampden, are her two daughters, Caitlin and Fiona McMahon, both of Hampden; her father, Theodore R. Littlefield; and her stepmother, Joan M. Speyer, both of Hampden. She was predeceased by her mother and her brother, Theodore C. Littlefield. Friends may call 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer. A funeral ceremony will be held noon Wednesday, April 20, at Congregation Beth El, 183 French St., Bangor, with Rabbi Dr. Laurence Elis Milder officiating. Burial will be at Beth El Cemetery, Bangor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Arthritis Foundation, care of Allen Drucker, 109 State St., Bangor.
