WADE – Della Mae Carman 76, beloved wife of Herman Carman Jr., went to be with her Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with cancer, Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Della was born April 15, 1929, in Washburn, the daughter of Leonard and Sadie (Conley) Boulier. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren at their activities, cooking, traveling, playing floor hockey and cheering on the Red Sox. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her. In addition to her husband of Wade, Della is survived by her seven children, Linwood and Judy Carman of Missouri, Rita and Harvey Giddings of Saco, Constance and Roger Gagnon of Washburn, Sally Carman and fiance, Keith Benoit of Rye, N.H., Nancy and Steve Gildert, Lottie and Jr. Doody and Allison and Greg Page, all of Wade; 16 grandchildren, J.R. and Steven Carman, Barbara Murphey, Nathan and Ethan Doody, Scott, Tim, Nolan and Elizabeth Gagnon; Cassie and Josh Gildert; Harvey Giddings, Kelly Butler, Sarah Goodine, Keagan and Lura Page; and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maxine Stedt, Josephine Dow and Winnie Pate. In addition to her parents, Della is predeceased by a brother, Clarence Boulier; sisters, Clarabell Tompkins, Eunice Doody, Jennie Saucier, Hazel Fournier; and one son-in-law, Richard Gagnon. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunntown Advent Christian Church in Wade, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be in the Crouseville Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
