PRESQUE ISLE – Dena B. Susee, 72, went to be with her Lord peacefully Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at a Presque health care facility. She was born Feb. 16, 1934, in Easton, the daughter of Daniel Sr. and Hazel (Giberson) Turner. Dena was a graduate of Easton High School. She worked as a home health care provider. Dena was a member of Pine Tree Baptist Church, Easton, and served on the board at Presque Isle Housing. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Hugh Turner and his wife, Lynda, of Easton; her daughter, Debra Tibbetts and her husband, Michael, of Easton; her twin brother, Daniel Turner Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Easton; four sisters and their husbands, Grace and Francis Nasser of Fall River, Mass., Esther Turner of Houston, Rita and Jan Lepovitz of Alvin, Texas, Phoebe and Earl Watters of Houston; four grandchildren, Samantha McDonald and her husband, Keith, of Modesto, Calif., Adam Tibbetts of Easton, Holden and Hunter Turner of Easton; a great-grandson, Lunden McDonald; a sister-in-law, Mavis Turner of Medway; many special nieces, nephews, and beloved family members in Canada. She was predeceased by two brothers, William and Dell Turner. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Pine Tree Baptist Church, Easton, with Pastor Carlos daCruz officiating.
