WOLCOTT, CONN. and MADAWASKA – Denis Pelletier, 48, died Oct. 22, 2005, at his home in Wolcott, Conn., surrounded by his loving family after his battle with pancreatic cancer. Denis was born April 9, 1957, in Edmundston, N.B., son of Janet and the late Robert “Bob” Pelletier. He graduated from Madawaska High School, Class of 1975. Denis was a faithful and dedicated Fraser Papers employee for 30 years. Denis was employed as a senior technical services representative. Denis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing golf with his buddies and a good game of cribbage. He was an avid Red Sox fan. Those who knew him will always have stories to tell and pleasant memories to share of a man who has touched their hearts and soul in so many ways. Denis will be missed tremendously, he left too soon. He will be remembered for his warm smile. Denis is survived by one son, Thomas Jason, “T.J.” of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter, Kelly June of Branford, Conn.; and former wife, Holly, also of Branford, Conn. Denis was most proud of his children. He is also survived by his mother, Janet; and three brothers, Ron and his wife, Carlene, George and his wife, Judy and Francis and his wife, Sherry, all of Madawaska. He was predeceased by his father, Bob; three brothers, Roger, Steven and Tom; one sister, Priscilla. There will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska. Following the Mass the family would like you to join them for a luncheon at the St. David Church basement. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cancer Fund of your choice.
