ASHLAND – Diane E. Biondo, 66, died April 20, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1940, in Mount Holly, N.J., the daughter of Eugene and Marion (Anderson) Cunningham. She was employed as a caregiver for private individuals for several years. Diane was raised in the Mount Holly and Pemberton, N.J., area, and lived there until she relocated to Ashland in 2001. She was an active volunteer with the Brownie and Girl Scout troops in the Pemberton, N.J., area for several years. She will be remembered as a loving and kind mother and grandmother, who gave of herself completely to her family. Diane was loved by many and will be truly missed. Her fondness for animals was remarkable and she donated to various animal shelters throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, John Biondo of Presque Isle; one son, Dean Scelza of Masardis; two daughters, Lisa M. Bomiley and her husband, Gene, of Medford, N.J., and Sherry Scelza of Ashland; two brothers, Eugene Cunningham and his wife, Nahir, of Browns Mills, N.J., and William A. Cunningham and his wife, Doris, of Pemberton, N.J.; one sister, Donna L. Hann and her fianc?, Harley, of Browns Mills, N.J.; one granddaughter, Crystal Bromiley of Philadelphia; many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Ashland.
