NEW LIMERICK – Dolly M. (Saunders) Laing, 78, died Aug. 6, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 5, 1927, at New Limerick, the daughter of Walter Saunders and Geneva (Laing) Saunders Emerson. Dolly was a member of the New Limerick Baptist Church. She had a great love for playing the guitar, listening to country music, camping and animals. She is survived by three brothers, Richard and Marie Emerson, Willie Sanders, Walter “Jim” Sanders; three sisters, Florence “Fawnie” Emerson, Alice Chipman, Naomi Browning; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Frieda Drew; and a family friend, Brenda Lannigan. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Ralph, Harold and Donnie; one sister, Kathleen Roper; and her nephew, Keith Saunders. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at New Limerick Baptist Church, with Rev. David Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in the New Limerick Cemetery.
