EAST MILLINOCKET – Dolores S. Silvasi, 74, died July 6, 2005, in East Millinocket. She was born Jan. 5, 1931, in East Millinocket, the daughter of Wesley Byron and Annie (Scopie) VanTassel. She was the wife of the late, Emery Silvasi. Dolores was a graduate of Schenck High School in East Millinocket and worked as a telephone operator in Caribou for many years. Dolores loved music and planting flowers. She was a dedicated sister, and a friend was a friend forever. She was genuinely devoted to her “Cheekos” (1,2, and 3). She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, June and Dalton McDonald of Hickory, N.C.; and special friends, Grant Brees of East Millinocket, Donna Garand of Millinocket, and Brett Doe of East Millinocket. She will be laid to rest in the family lot at East Millinocket Cemetery, at a future date to be announced by R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home.
