MILLINOCKET – Dominic Edward Gadon, 81, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at a Dover-Foxcroft health-care facility. He was born May 15, 1923, in Greenville, the son of Narcisse and Sophie (White) Gadon. Ed was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. After his service in the Army, he worked for Great Northern Paper Company in Greenville, and later in Millinocket. He was predeceased by his wife, Beverly M. “Betty” (Reed) Gadon Feb. 29, 2000. He was also predeceased by four sisters, Lillian Harrington, Margaret Gadon, Christina Bartley, and Victoria Boynton. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Norma Anderson of East Millinocket, several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Barbara Bartley. In keeping with Dominic’s wishes, there will be no services. If friends wish, donations in Ed’s memory may be made to the Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field St., Millinocket, ME 04462.
