HAMPDEN – Donald A. Perry Jr., 52, died Jan. 28, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1953, in Bangor, the son of Donald Albert Sr. and Elinor Gail (Jellison) Perry. Donnie was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a registered Maine master guide. He was a member of Lewey’s Island Masonic Lodge of Princeton. Donnie’s proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren and he will be dearly missed as a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his mother of Amherst, he is survived by the love of his life, Cindy, after 36 years of marriage; two sons, DJ Perry and wife, Mindy, of Eddington, Joel Perry and fiance, Amanda Bacheller, of Bangor; two very special granddaughters, Taylor and Samantha; sisters, Sue Guerin of Hampden, Marianne Cox of Dover-Foxcroft, Nita Wainwright of Brewer; a brother, Tom Perry and wife, Lisa, of Hermon; a special cousin, Randy Jellison; and his loving four legged friend, “Mattie;” several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by his father, sister, Judy Perry; and infant twin sons. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a service of remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, following the service.
