GREENBUSH – Ronald Joseph Buxton, 66, died Jan. 27, 2006, following a short illness at his Cardsridge Road residence. He was born July 10, 1939, in Milford, a son of Linwood Sr. and Chrissie (Anderson) Buxton. Ron enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was hunting, fishing or four-wheeling. He enjoyed traveling to new sights or staying home and playing cards. Time spent with his grandchildren always was filled with laughter and love. He enjoyed building and remodeling. He is survived by his wife, Dottie (Buck) Buxton; seven children, Barbara Finley and her husband, Kirk, of Limestone, Danielle Carey of Greenbush, Jason Carey of Greenbush, Bryan Wright and his wife, Susan, of Weatherford, Texas, Raymond Buxton, Glenn Wright and Jack Wright; seven grandchildren, Christena, Raelene, Michael, Alexis, Zachary, Melissa and Jessica; three great-granddaughters, Briana, Mady and Nikki; two brothers, Edgar Buxton and his wife, Velma, of Greenbush and Palmer Buxton of Milford; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Linwood, Alfred, Frank and Theodore Buxton; and two sisters, Opal Pruitt and Barbara Levesque; and a granddaughter, Angel May. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. At Ron’s request, there will be no formal funeral service.
