PITTSFIELD and MOBILE, Ala. – Donald Dominick Susi, 84, native of Pittsfield and resident of Mobile, Ala., passed away at a Mobile nursing facility Monday, Feb. 13, 2006. Mr. Susi was a 1940 graduate of Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield. He was predeceased by his parents, Dominick and Lydia Susi; and brother, John Susi. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise Susi; and daughter, Dawn Goffi and her husband, James, all of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Roosevelt Susi of Portland and Wayne Susi of Florida; two grandchildren, Mark Goffi and his wife, Robin, of McDonough, Ga. and Trista Montgomery and her husband, Michael, of Mobile; five great-grandchildren, Luke Goffi, Lydia Goffi, Jessica Montgomery, Amanda Montgomery and Andrew Montgomery; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at a later date at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
