DADE CITY, Fla. – Donald E. Hatt, 77, died May 19, 2006, in Dade City, Fla. He was born July 8, 1928, in Milo, to Fred and Frances (O’Leary) Hatt. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lou Hatt; three sons, Donald R. Hatt of Dover, N.H., Stephen L. Hatt of Wiscasset, and Richard A. Hatt of Lebanon, N.H.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Jeanette Crandall of Bangor, Vicki Jardine of Orrington; and a brother, James Hatt of Blanchard, Okla. Those who wish to donate in his memory are encouraged to do so to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Fla. an organization close to Don’s heart.
