LITTLETON – Donald F. McAfee 73, died April 13, 2006, at Houlton. He was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Houlton, the son of James and Roxie (Sewell) McAfee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Don and Marie had a genuine love for each other that lasted more than 50 years. Don enjoyed his family, playing guitar, singing, gardening and doing geneology. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marie (McIver) McAfee of Littleton; three children, Debie and her husband, Ervin Suitter, of Houlton, Bonnie Gobeil of Gray, Larry McAfee and his fiance, Shelly Bouvier; nine grandchildren, Erica Suitter, Kyle Gobeil, Craig Gobeil, Lucas McAfee, Matthew McAfee, Michael, Chris, Matthew and Holly Bouvier; one great-grandson, Zachary Bouvier; 10 brothers and sisters, John and his wife, Geraldine and Albert McAfee, all of Houlton, Dana and his wife, Betty McAfee, of Littleton, David and his wife, Judy McAfee, of Augusta, Ken McAfee and Darlene of Littleton, Rick Strout and Karlene, of Waterville, Laura Snell, Phyllis and her husband, Fred Spellman, all of Ludlow, Nonie and her husband, Kenneth Schools, of Houlton and Judy and her husband, Harold Fitzpatrick, of Littleton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Phillip, Clarence and Orin. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Monday, April 17, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, with graveside funeral services following immediately at St. Mary’s Cemetery with the Rev.
