CORINNA – Donald Gould, 87, died Jan. 31, 2004, at his Corinna residence. He was born May 27, 1916, at Wellington a son of Leon and Celia (Small) Gould. He graduated from Corinna Union Academy, Class of 1937. During World War II, he was employed by Burnis Nelson as a dairy and potato farmer. He weaved for a number of years at Guilford and Dexter woolen mills, and retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Manufacturers of East Hartford, Conn., May 27, 1981. He was a member of the First Free Baptist Church of Dexter, the First Baptist Church of Dade City, Fla., and the Pleasant Street Christian Church of Corinna. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Corinna; daughters, Elaine Greenlaw of Corinna, and Nancy Morin of East Hartford, Conn.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Gary; and two brothers, Linwood and Lyonel. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Pleasant Street Christian Church, with the Rev. Edward Jaworski officiating. Spring burial will be in Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna.
