GREENBUSH and BANGOR Donald H. Lancaster Sr., 72, husband of Dena (Clark) Lancaster, died Dec. 14, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare center. He was born Dec. 11, 1933, in Kingman, the son of Linwood E. and Ethel L. (Hodgdon) Lancaster. Donald was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing cards, cribbage and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving in addition to his wife of Old Town are two sons, Donald H. Lancaster Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Clifton and Matthew A. Lancaster and his wife, Christie, of Greenbush; two stepsons, Scott and Dean Hanson both of Clifton; one brother, Linwood Lancaster; and one sister, Althea Nason, both of Lincoln; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, four sisters and five brothers. Services will be private. Arrangements by Cremation Basics, Inc., Bangor.
