MADAWASKA – Donald J. “Pete” Morin, 47, died Oct. 24, 2006, at a Caribou hospital after a brief struggle with cancer. He was born June 19, 1959, in Limestone, the son of Joseph “Don” and Dorina (Bois) Morin. “Pete” served in the U.S. Army for three years and worked as a custodial supervisor at the Madawaska Elementary School for the past 20 years. In addition to his parents of St. Agatha, he is survived by his wife, Charlene (Beaulieu) Morin of Madawaska; two sons, Justin and Bruce Morin both of Madawaska; one brother, David Morin and his wife, Debbie, of Justin, Texas; two sisters, Donna Deschaine and her husband, Danny, of St. David and Diana Dimauro and her husband, Peter, of Winstead, Conn.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. Contributions may be made in “Pete’s” memory by making donations to an education fund for his sons, Justin and Bruce, care of their mother, Charlene Morin, 153 11th Ave., Madawaska, ME 04756 or to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, NMMC, 194 Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
