BIDDEFORD – Donald N. Lamore, 75, died peacefully in his sleep Saturday, April 3, 2004, after a long illness at St. Andres Healthcare Facility. He was born March 28, 1929, in Fort Kent, the son of Phoebe and Aimee Lamore. He was employed at Loring Air Force Base until 1985 when he retired to Southern Maine to be close to his children. He was an avid fan of Dixieland jazz, square dancing and trout fishing. He also enjoyed being outdoors, and was a loving husband father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Guy of Scarborough; four children, Jeff of Saco, Diane D’Agastino of Redlands, Calif., Connie of Hampton, N.H. and Sue Fox of South Portland; three sisters, Lorette Tilley of Van Buren, Lola Bouchard of New Canada, Joan Dow of Eagle Lake; and five grandsons. He was predeceased by one brother, Dana Lamore of Fort Kent. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Andres Healthcare Facility, 407 Pool Road, Biddeford, ME 04005.
