ISLAND FALLS – Donald Sewall Harmon, of 60 Merriman Rd., 92, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at York Hospital. Donald was born March 4, 1913, in Penacook, N.H., son of George Henry and Harriet Sewall Harmon. Donald graduated from Raymond (N.H.) High School in 1933 and from the University of New Hampshire in 1941, majoring in animal husbandry and agricultural education. He married Elizabeth J. Wastcoat of Wolliston, Mass., that summer. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. and Cheryl B. Harmon of South Berwick; his grandsons, Emlen B. of New York City, N.Y. and Seth T. of Newton Center, Mass.; a brother, William Wingate Harmon of Raymond, N.H. and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth; a sister, Harriet Isadore Miller; and a brother, George Emlen Harmon. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Island Falls cemetery.
