LILY BAY TOWNSHIP – Donald Stewart Bailey, 75, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born April 18, 1933, in Lewiston, the son of William and Norrine (Brown) Bailey. He enjoyed a career in education as both a teacher and principal in Etna, Dixmont and Milbridge. He was a proud member of Pleaides Lodge, Milbridge and the Maine Principals Association. Donald is survived by his wife, Joyce (Beal) Bailey; daughter, Kim Bailey Brooker and her partner, Scott Brown, of Hinckley; grandchildren, Kristopher Brooker and his wife, Kerri, of Hampden, Matthew Brooker of Venice, Fla., Elizabeth Newman and her husband, Christopher, of Waterville and Luke Dubois of Portland; great-granddaughter, Samantha Karen Brooker; brother, Robert Bailey of Rockland; niece, Sue Ann Farrington of Rockland; special friend, Larry Farrington; and several close friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by daughter, Karen Dubois; his parents; a sister-in-law, Terry Bailey; and a nephew, Thomas Bailey. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Evergreen Cemetery, Milbridge. Those wishing to remember Donald may make donations to Charles A.
