BREWER and MILLINOCKET Donna Marie (Seile) Farley, 61, died Feb. 21, 2007, at her home in Brewer, after a long illness. She was born April 4, 1945, in Millinocket, the daughter of Henry and Muriel Seile. Some of mom’s greatest pleasures came from spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading and knitting. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she always overfilled the tree with presents for everyone. Mom had a special place in her heart for all her grandchildren. She always loved to spoil them with candy and love. One of mom’s greatest accomplishments was graduating with a bachelor’s degree in social work and minor in communications from Bloomsburg University, December 1999, at the age of 54. Mom is survived by her father, Henry Seile of Millinocket; her two sons, Jeff and his wife, Marsha, of Bangor and Todd and his wife, Debbie, of Ridgeland, Miss.; her four grandchildren, Caleb and Kyle Farley of Bangor and Sydney and Meredith Farley of Ridgeland, Miss.; her two sisters, Mamie Hobbs and her husband, Jeff, of Millinocket and Julie Michaud of East Millinocket; her two brothers, Mike Seile of Millinocket and Chris Seile of Mifflinburg, Pa.; many nieces, nephews and friends; also Gail Seile of Millinocket and Johnny Michaud of East Millinocket; and a very special friend, Ginny Bennett of Brewer. Mom was predeceased by her mother, Muriel Seile. A special thank you to Ginny Bennett and her family and friends for their endless caring of our mom, allowing her to stay at home during her illness. Also thanks to Hospice of Eastern Maine. Friends are welcome to join the family in remembering mom 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Millinocket Congregational Church. A gathering will be held 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at the home of Ginny Bennett, 71 Mill St., Millinocket. Interment will take place in the spring at Millinocket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna’s memory to the Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field St., Millinocket, ME 04462.
