SHERMAN – Donna Marilyn (London) McKinney, 76, died peacefully Nov. 9, 2005, surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 5, 1929, to Glen and Achsa (Sides) London. She grew up in Sherman and graduated from Sherman High in 1946 as valedictorian and moved to California at the age of 18. There she met her husband of 57 years, Mace R. “Rod” McKinney Jr. She and Rod lived in California until 1984 then retired back to her hometown. Donna enjoyed her family, friends, traveling, scrap booking and gardening. Donna is survived by her husband of Sherman; daughter, Candace R. McCauslin and her husband, Dale, of Palmyra; a grandson, Bret Lash and his wife, Christine, of Stacyville; a granddaughter, Amy Zaffiro and her husband, Terrence, and their three daughters, Macee, Clarice and Abigail of Palmyra; brothers, Theron “Kim” London of Stacyville, Barry London and wife, Doris, of Chatom, Ala.; sister, Roanne Stoddard of Moses Lake, Wash. Donna was predeceased by her beloved son, Mace R. McKinney III in 1969 and both of her parents. Donna wished that there be no wake or funeral services, instead just remember she loves you and remember the good times she had.
